1. What operating systems do the poker rooms and casinos support?
You can play with Windows 98, 2000, NT, XP, Vista, OS X (Mac) and even Linux at some sites.
2. Can I observe a game without participating?
Yes, you are able to observe any of the available games before you decide to participate. At some poker rooms, if you are not a member of that site, you can't observe the game, but you don't need to deposit any money in order to observe any game.
3. Are the cards really random?
The algorithms used to generate cards on any poker site and casino are completely random. The random number generators and the shuffle have been tested millions of hands (3 hundred millions) and reveals no bias or predictability. All casinos and poker rooms software have been aproved by eCOGRA. The most of poker rooms and casinos are audited on a monthly basis by the leading accounting and auditing firms.
4. Is it possible to predict the cards?
No, the cards to be dealt are not determined until the very moment before they are sent out, so there is no way to know them in advance.
5. I lost my password, What do I do?
Most of the sites have the option to recover your password clicking on any button that say "Forgot password" or something like that, enter your site's email address and a new password will be sent to that email. Then you can change that password to something you can remember.
6. When does my money appear in my site account?
Instantly, except if it's a bank transfer that can take 1-3 business days.
7. Do I have to deposit money if I register my account details?
No, you are not forced to deposit any money when you register your account details. You can fund your account when you want.
8. I got disconnected of a poker tournament, What should I do?
Try to log back as fast as you can, you will be seated again at your table. When you get disconnected from a tournament, you will be put in auto pilot (check and fold all the time until you return).
9. My connection is slow, Can I speed it up?
There are some solutions to speed up your connection like close all your open browsers, close music programs, cancel downloading processes, play in less tables....all of these processes can slow down your computer or internet connection.
10. What happens if I get disconnected in the middle of a hand?
If you get disconnected, you will be automatically put All-In and you are still in the hand for the main pot. It's designed to protect your investment into a pot when you run out of money, do not act in time or get disconnected for any reason. You can have one or two Disconnect protection per day in order to prevent abuse of this feature.
